A water tank has a base if 30 cubic meter. how much water does it contain when the water in it is 5.5 meters deep?

the question doesn't make sense to me, 30 cubic meters is a volume, when it should be talking about surface area.

@Simonbane I'm sorry I can't help you because I don't understand the question.
a couple of questions... and you sure the question says .." a water tank has a base of 30 cubic metres".... makes more sense if its 30 metres square... then if it is a prism or cylinder the volume is V = base area x height so it could be V = 30 x 5.5
or even 30 square metres.
