3a/bc + 2b/ac

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And your question is...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do you solve it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can't solve it since there are three unknown variables and no equal sign. Perhaps you mean combine these terms?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it says find the sum? and our answer doesnt match up to any of my options

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so you just assum these fractions with different denominators do you know how can you do it ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

how can you assuming two fractions with denominators differentls ? 1/2 +1/3 = ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

come on i like help you understanding how you need adding two fractions with different denominators ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have no clue, thats all they told me and thats the problem.

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so ok first of all you need getting ,calcule what is the denominator common for these two fractions ok ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so there are denominators bc and ac so how many will be denominator common ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

ok i will tel you will be abc the respectivly denominator common so after this if you know how many is the denominator common than now what you need to do for you can adding these two fractions ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

do you know it ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

you dont like cooperat nothing here ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

ok so the denominator of first fraction is bc but the denominator common is abc so you see that there is denominator bc and common denominator abc so than the differentz is an a so than you need multiplie the first numerator by a ok so if you have understood it this so than now can you tel me with what term you need multiplie the second fraction ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

the second numerator

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

do you understand anything ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think elmo_kaitlin is AFK.

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

ok than do you like to solve you it ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

if you solve it i will add to you a medal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3a^2c+2b^2c/abc^2

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

not is right because the common denominator will be not how you have wrote abc^2 ,the correct common denominator is how i have wrote before little up if you check it there you canb see it so will be just abc so than can you solve your exercise correct now ?
