Imagine if we were on a rocket which is travelling at the speed of light and one guy gets up and starts walking. Will the guy be walking faster than the speed of light? As the Speed of the Rocket + the speed of the guy will be more than the speed of light. Was curious! :) thanks

OpenStudy (amistre64):

"traveling at the speed of light" there would be no guy to get up and start to walk to begin with

if i were to try an explanation: the faster we travel, the more compressed we become in the direction of travel. At the speed of light, we have a maximum compression of space, and therefore there is no room to move "forwards"
