The circumferences of two circles are in the ratio of 3:5. What is the ratio of the area of the smaller circle to the area of the larger circle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We know that the circumference of circle is C = 2πr and the area of circle is A = πr². 3:5 = 2π(3) : 2π(5) = 3π : 5π = 3²π : 5²π = 9π:25π = 9:25 I guess.
