find solution x^2+3x+2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x+1) (x+2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

step to step

OpenStudy (lilsis76):

it has to be factored. a=1 for the x^2 b=3 for the 3x and c=2 for the last number. If u mult. the 2*1 you get a 2. if u put the b u get 3. what times what makes 2, yet when added makes 3? thats where you get the x+2 & x+3

OpenStudy (lilsis76):

if u have to solve it do x+2=0 subtract 2 from both sides and you get x= -2, now do the same for the other
