OpenStudy (lilsis76):

Why does AC=BC=BD? for the rest of this problem assume AD=1. I don't know where to start. I will set a photo of the measurements.

OpenStudy (lilsis76):

<C at left 72, at right 36, <B is 36, <D at left is 72, at right is 108, <A 36 But, why does AC=BC=BD?

hartnn (hartnn):

sorry, i had to go... so u said angle A and B are congruent(equal) thats right, what are the opposite sides of these two angles ? (in triangle ABC only)

OpenStudy (lilsis76):

haha its okay, I had to take care of stuff too.

OpenStudy (lilsis76):

would the opposite sides be.... a 2? since between <D and <A = 1?

hartnn (hartnn):

whats a2? i'll draw the triangle separately for you: |dw:1348450473011:dw| now can u identify opposite sides ?
