10zto the power of 2 -140z+450

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know how to use the quadratic formula?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no I dont I have hard time taking it out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i cant factor its hard

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, I thought you wanted us to find the value of z. My bad. First, factor the 10 out. 10z² - 140x + 450 = 10(z² - 14z + 45) Now, factor z² - 14z + 45

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok take out the 10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, now it is easier to factor without 10. Can you factor z² - 14z + 45 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how would i figure out this one? and How do I give you a medal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[28z ^{2}+16z ^{2}+80z\]
