well,you could start with a book,as tutorials don't always cut it.But because there are so many teaching styles,then i suggest you to try more books and then stick with the one you're comfortable with. Here's a website where you can find books on Java : http://www.wowebook.be/category/java/ Scroll through them.Download the ones you think you could work with.
