first put the numbers in order from smallest to largest:
17,20,24,27,27,28,32
then, find the median(middle number): 27
next, put the other numbers in parentheses like this:
(17,20,24) 27(27,28,32)
find the middle number of the numbers in the parentheses: 20(Q1) and 28(Q3) (these will be called Q1 and Q3)
and Finally Subtract Q1 from Q3 to find the inter quartile range:28-20=8
So, your IQR=8.
