Why does a geostationary satellite must orbit the Earth in 1 sidereal day rather than 1 solar day?

i guess , ------------------- |dw:1348513316823:dw| ----------------------------------- since it is geostationary it will orbit the earth , due to earth's orbit and is not depend on the solar orbit
