Find the are of the region thst is below the curve y=4/1+x^2 and above the line y=1

zepdrix (zepdrix):

So you need to integrate over a specific region. What region? You need to find the points of intersection! c: so set your equations equal to one another, and solve for x. \[1=\frac{ 4 }{ 1+x^{2} }\]

My equations?

zepdrix (zepdrix):

y=1 is one equation, y also equals something else (your other equation) so you can set them equal to each other :D confused? :o
