Okay, so I forget what the process is called, but I need to do what I did to 105 to 7128. I took the numbers that multiply to 105 (3x5x7) as the answer, and I need that for 7128.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you need "prime factorization" ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's often easiest to get started on even numbers like 7128 by factoring out a 2. If the result is even, factor out another 2, and keep going. If you get a result that is odd, check to see if you can factor out a 3. If so, keep factoring out 3's until you can't. Then try factoring out a 5, and so on. Each time you get stuck, try the next largest prime number, so 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, etc.
