I was solving a DE in my engineering class that boiled down to: \[\mu \frac{∂V_z}{∂y}=\frac{dP}{dz}\] Since neither side is dependent on the same variable(s) and they both may be treated as constants, we can say: \[\mu \frac{∂V_z}{∂y}=\frac{dP}{dz}=\frac{P_f-P_i}{z_f-z_i}\] Is this a valid assertion?

OpenStudy (experimentx):

is it complete set of equations? I think few things are quite missing ..
