how do you find domain and range of 4x-7y=1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

single out the y so that the equation will be y= ....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x-y=-6?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for linear equations they go forever in x and y, does that help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

subtract the 4x from both sides and you will get -7y=-4x+1 then you can divide -7 from both sides and you will get y= -(4/7)x -(1/7) Graph it and you will see that the domain and range are infinity
