OpenStudy (eyust707):

I have seen this same question posted before... never understood what it was asking. Is there more description in the directions that define the axes?

OpenStudy (eyust707):

hmm I guess this is a question from linear programming. never really studied that but ill give it a read if you want.

OpenStudy (eyust707):

"the maximum and minimum values of the optimization equation will always be on the corners of the feasibility region."

OpenStudy (eyust707):

The corners are: (6, 5) (8, 0) (0,8) (0,0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Based on the function to be maximized, it's pretty clear you want y to be as large as possible and x to be as small as possible, soo....

OpenStudy (eyust707):

yep ^^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah, I got it now I'm pretty sure, thanks :)
