OpenStudy (amistre64):

The link provided from a chat abuse report is confusing to say the least.

myininaya (myininaya):

Are you talking about how the chat is called a post and how it messes you up when you left click the link?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you mean right click? Left clicking works fine for me, and right clicking doesn't do anything unexpected really either. It brings up the normal options for a link. What I could see as confusing is that the "report" button along with the time signature show up with a line at the top of the post you are hovering over. This information could be viewed as being at the bottom of the post above it. It's also a little confusing maybe that you have to hover over the post and then navigate to the button. I like that feature though because it keeps the chat uncluttered.

myininaya (myininaya):

I thought @amistre64 was talking about the notifications we get for when chats are reported.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

myins summation of the issue was accurate. its called a post, you click on it and I assume it takes you to a log of the chatbox, but trying to figure out what is being reported in there is confusing to me

OpenStudy (trancenova):

Usually the read out is pretty long, but what has been reported usually is highlighted in red. In saying that I generally have trouble trying to work out which part is newest/oldest so I just open the normal chat.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

Yep, long and difficult to read thru. It might be better if it just showed the offending post and which chat it came from. I also have troubles inside the chatbox itself with trying to hover the icons to bring up the moderator functions. The scrolling of the chat doesnt always allow for smooth operations.

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

Chat scrolling should now have been fixed so that if you scroll away from the bottom, anything you're looking at should remain in fixed position. As for the chat report list, yeah, I can see how it can be a problem. Currently anything that's been reported abusive in the readout is highlighted red; I usually do a find in page, or read most of the entries so that I can gain some context anyway.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

nice work on the chat scroll. Ill be able to better test it when it busier tho :) thnx
