plz can anyone help try to separate Y from X 1/(X+Y+1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is this in an equation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes but the (dx/dy =1/(x+y+1) Separable differential equations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh ok that just made it much more interesting

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah this is fun stuff wait a bit for me to write it out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you sure it is dx/dy and not dy/dx?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ya dy/dx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It would take me an hour to write this out but wolfram alpha has the exact solution http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=dy%2Fdx+%3D1%2F%28x%2By%2B1%29

It's a pretty tough problem, what class is this for?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its math in my engineering college

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah that's a feather to study

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah but in the answer it is using nonlinear ordinary differential equation and we are supposed to solve it with separable differential equation rules

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then i'm stumped, I haven't done calc in a year and these details just get lost

OpenStudy (anonymous):

really thanx for helping I appreciate
