Herbert Spencer is known as the guy who developed the theory of evolution, writing about it even before Charles Darwin. And he founded the idea of survival of the fittest. did this help?

He definitely did not write about it before Charles Darwin. Spencer was not even a teenager by the time Darwin went one his voyage. He coined that term after Darwin's theory went public.
