Well, if you put 2x on the right side, then it will change the sign since you are adding 2x to the equation. The graph in the picture has a negative slope, so its not the same. Hence, false.

if you change that line equation into slope-intercept form, you'd get y=2x+7. so the slope SHOULD be 2. but when we find the slope of the line that's actually presented, with the points (4,-1) and (2,3) w find that the slope is -2. so it's false
