8. Tommy has 27 math problems to do for homework. He has completed 12 problems. Write an equation to find how many math problems Tommy has left to complete. A. x - 12 = 27 B. x + 12 = 27 C. x + 27 = 12 D. 27 = 12 - x

so 27 is your total so that's always on the other side of the equal sign so you can automatically cross out C. Now A wouldn't make sense because you're not trying to figure out how many math problems you had before you did twelve, cause that's already given. B would make the most sense cause you have a certain number of problems left, adding the twelve you already had to get 27 the total number you have to do
