oh okay thanks that helps they change the words of what add minus divide and multiply mean so it gets confusing

It's alright, I used to get really confused with this too. Ok the product of: one half of a number and one third of the same number. product of... Multiplication one half a number... 1/2n one third of the same number... 1/3n The product of 1/2n and 1/3n. So what is your equation?
