5. Plane STL and plane Z would intersect at _____? http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=14aikif&s=6
Did you understand the previous plane question on naming it?
Yes!
It was SLT right?
SLT is a plane that is diagonal to the "flat" plane, Z. The previous question wanted you to find 3 points that sit on the flat plane... look at X, T, and V... they are all sitting on the "table" that is plane Z. Point S is NOT on that plane... it is up in the air above plane Z
Oh, I think I get it now, thank you so much!
This one says, look at the diagonal plane that runs through S, L, and T.... (it's like a piece of paper held at an angle to your desk) Where does it intersect plane Z, the desk? Hint, planes intersect other planes in a line, like the edge of the paper with the desk.
Would it be STV?
Elizabeth, sorry, I stepped away. The intersection line between those 2 planes must sit on both planes. STV is a different plane that also is like paper standing vertically on a table Z. SLT is diagonal "paper" leaning to the left, and intersecting the "table" plane Z along the little ray "TL" that starts in the middle of the plane Z and goes away from you.
