Please help: 5- sqrt75

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can be simplified to 5-5sqrt3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have to find a perfect square that 75 is divisable by. in this case it is 25. so you have sqrt(25*3). then you take the 25 out of the sqrt as 5, because the sqrt of 25 is 5. so sqrt75 becomes 5sqrt3
