distance between (-3,7) (-8,-3) (5,9)

You need the distance between each point and the other two points? Do you know the distance formula? If they are asking you this question, they surely talked about the distance formula...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i do but its asking for the distance of all three? do i do it sepera(-3,7) (-8,-3) (5,9)tly?

It's hard to know unless there is more written in the problem. If I were doing it, I would find the distance between (-3,7) and the other 2 points. And then repeat for (-8,-3) and (5,9). There are 3 points, so there are only 3 distances between them... sketch a triangle (don't worry about coordinates) and see... 3 points only have 3 separate distances between them.
