Question

I need help with the following problem in Linear Algebra.

Let a and b be fixed vectors in R3, and let W be the subset of R3 defined by

W = {x: aTx = 0 and bTx = 0}

Note: aT - transpose of a (a^T)

Prove that W is a subspace of R3.

Any ideas would be helpful.
