sorry to ask so many questions, i just want to make sure my answers are correct

OpenStudy (jiteshmeghwal9):

4x^2+8y+8y+16

OpenStudy (jiteshmeghwal9):

Is this 16y or 16x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow i wrote it wrong ... its \[4y ^{2}+16y+16\]

OpenStudy (jiteshmeghwal9):

ok ! break the middle term such that the sum becomes 16y & product becomes \(16\times y^2\). "\(4y^2+8y+8y+16=4y(y+2)+8(y+2)=(4y+8)(y+2)\)"

OpenStudy (jiteshmeghwal9):

Did u gt this @boomerang285 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you write it out in the steps?

OpenStudy (jiteshmeghwal9):

\[\Huge{4y^2+8y+8y+16}\]\[\Huge{\implies 4y(y+2)+8(y+2)}\]\[\Huge{\implies (4y+8)(y+2)}\]
