how to take angular momentum on a point on a disk at a distance of r/4 from the radius directly above the radius???

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

This sentence does not make any sense.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why is it??? we have to determine angular momentum of a pure rolling disc about a point at a distace of r/4 from the centre directly above it.. angular velocity is omega

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

Well, this one does!

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

Work out first the angular momentum about the centre of the disc, using moment of inertia of a uniform disc about its axis. Then swap from centre to desired point by using König's theorem.
