What is the value of f(4) for the function f(x) = 3x – 5? (Type only the value of your final answer, no variables.) Numerical Answers Expected!

zepdrix (zepdrix):

f(4) simply means you plug in a 4 for every x that you see in the problem :D f(4)=3(4)-5 understand? :D

OpenStudy (amorfide):

f(x) means it is a function containing x so if you have f(4) that means all x's are replaced with that value

OpenStudy (anonymous):
