I'm having troubles with this question x-4>-10 and 8x<=32 now I added 4 on each side and i get x>-6 and 8x<=36 I don't know what to do next.

zepdrix (zepdrix):

so you found 1 inequality for x so far :) x>-6 lets finish up finding the other one a sec. divide by that 8 yes? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhhh i was dividing 8 with -6 too so i would just divide 8 by 8x and 36 right?

zepdrix (zepdrix):

yes sounds right :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i get 1 and 4.5

OpenStudy (phi):

from x-4>-10 and 8x<=32 you should get x > -6 and x <= 4 which can be written as -6 < x ≤ 4 on a number line |dw:1348694221481:dw|
