Solve the system using elimination. 3x + 3y = –9 3x – 3y = 21

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. (3, –6) B. (–5, 2) C. (3, 3) D. (2, –5) Would the answer be B or D?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

have you figured out the answer or would you still like some help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, x is equal to 2. So it would be B.

i think you might want to reconsider. the only ordered pair with the x coordinate =2 is D. I believe. check it out. i could be wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@hsmt im sorr guys, my bad. It's D, because x=2 means (2,-5). @chicagochica5 sorry for my lame mistake lol..
