Jamie and Nicole are buying streamers for their mother’s surprise birthday party. They need to buy purple and gold streamers. The purple streamers cost $2 per roll and the gold streamers cost $3 per roll. They have $25 to spend on streamers. Which of the following is a possible combination of streamers?

Ok, so set up your equation...... Set up 2 variables, x and y, to be how many purple and gold streamers they buy respectively. So, now you know how many they bought, but you need to make sure that they do not spend more than 25$, so you do... 2x + 3y <= 25 I got the 2 and the 3 from the cost. The cost of 1 times the cost of how many they bought will equal the total cost. So, now, just solve!
