A wave is traveling from one medium to another. If the wave is partially transmitted and partially reflected from the boundary, what will happen to the amplitude of the reflected wave?

if the wave is a electromagnetic wave the amplitude will decrease(practically) and how much it decreases depends on surface properties
its amplitude as will as intensity will get reduced acc. to the property of suface where it falls...
