write all of the following statements that apply to the following polynomial -8x^2 +7x^3 + 7 It is a trinomial. It cannot be evaluated at x = -1/3 It has a coefficient of 8. It is cubic.

hmm ok this equation has addition, integer exponents, nothing silly going on. So it's a polynomial. more specifically its a polynomial with 3 terms > that might make which statement true? y=x^3 describes a cubic function what is the leading term in your equation (leading meaning - highest power of x) It appears that one of the terms DOES have a coefficient of 8. Being a polynomial, it doesn't have any square roots or anything funky, so there won't be any problems over the domain of the function. Can you figure some stuff out from that? :)
