I need help with postulates?

OpenStudy (cgreenwade2000):

Well postulate away.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"I need help with postulates." is a postulate. "I need help with postulates?" is not a postulate.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok. Well I'm given NL=NM, AL=BM and I'm told to prove NA=NB.

Directrix (directrix):

@ckotchou74 Please post a diagram. Thanks.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Idk how to do that I'm new to this.

OpenStudy (cgreenwade2000):

Easy.

Directrix (directrix):

@ckotchou74 Click on the blue DRAW tab below and sketch the diagram. Without the diagram, it's hard to know whether the postulate is Addition Property of Equality, Segment Addition Postulate or another. @cgreenwade2000 --> Geometry is the topic at hand, not Algebra. In Geometry, AL does NOT mean A times L because A and L are NOT variables.

OpenStudy (cgreenwade2000):

Whoa! These are lines? Noooooooo :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank u

OpenStudy (cgreenwade2000):

It should work the same way.............

Directrix (directrix):

@ckotchou74 Click on the blue DRAW tab below and sketch the diagram. Please.
