Without the diagram, it's hard to know whether the postulate is Addition Property of Equality, Segment Addition Postulate or another.
@cgreenwade2000 --> Geometry is the topic at hand, not Algebra. In Geometry, AL does NOT mean A times L because A and L are NOT variables.
