to convert a fraction into decimal simply use division but to convert decimal into fraction is a little bit tricky you take that decimal number and remove the decimal point just by writing 10 or 100 or 1000 in the denominator. the use of 10 or 100 or 1000 depends upon the position of the decimal point. after the decimal point is removed simplify the fraction to least form. this technique is applicable only for terminating decimal numbers only e.g 0.24 , 5.2224 , 45.572 etc
