If we neglect air resistance, and the plane is not accelerating, we'll be above the rock (because here the plane and rock have common horizontal velocity). But with air resistance, we will be in front of the rock.

neglecting air friction,rotation of earth and if the plane is not accelerating in forward direction,then the plane will be above the bomb or rock or anything that falls from it
