can you check my thesis statement? I am writing about an analysis of who i believe Walt Whitman is through his poetry. What I do know about Walt Whitman is that he was a man of simplicity and seeing things for what they are by stepping outside the human norms. He shows this in his poem, When I Heard the Learn’d Astronomer. He explains that in order to understand space or our universe a person must think far deeper than just the things they see with the naked eye.
