Just read the material as they come along. The 6.00 course does not assume any prior knowledge in computer science or programming!

As Chris said, the 6.00 course needs no prior experience. The key to learning to program is practice so anything you have a hard time with you can google it to learn more about it, ask questions on here and try to do similar things on your own. Do these things until you feel comfortable with that particular topic.
