The book ""How To Think Like a Computer Scientist", by Allen Downey is a good way to follow this course (spanish translation and adaptation here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/httlcseifspa/ - didn't check if it's still the first edition). The textbook "Introduction to Computer Science and Programming" doesn't have a translation that I know about.
