I really need some help with this one..... I have to find the lateral area and volume of the right triangular prism. I don't understand how to do that so if you can help, please do! Diagram is in the comments
lateral area = the perimeter of the triangle multiplied by the height/length of the prism basically it is the sum of all the rectangular areas start by just looking at the triangular base and solving out for the missing side once you have that, calculate the perimeter and then multiply that perimeter by the length of the prism to get the lateral area
to calculate the volume of the triangular prism, V= b*h where b is the area of the triangular base, and h= height/ length of the prism the area of a right triangle is A=1/2 b*h |dw:1348762860324:dw|
