t+10-4t=-11 Subtract 11 from both sides: t+10+11-4t=0 Subtract t from both sides: 10+11-4t=-t Add 4t to both sides: 10+11=4t-t Simplify 21 = 3t Divide both sides by 3: 21/3 = t t = 7
