12x^2-14x+4=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use the quadratic equation:\[x={-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac}\over2a}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the equation \[12x^2-14x+4=0\]is in \[Ax+By+C=0\]format

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use that to solve the quadratic equation and that should give you two values of x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

other than that you could graph the equation using a graphing calculator and find the zeros which would give you the value of x

hope that's helpful @TeamJakeRosati_06 :)
