If Q is the midpoint of PR, PQ=x+6, and PR=5x-3 find QR, I solved it and figured out that x=5 but is there anything else that I need to do like sub in 5 into PQ=x+6 or PR=5x-3

zepdrix (zepdrix):

So Q is the midpoint, which means that PQ + QR = PR So plug in for PQ, get a value. plug in for QR, get a vlue. Then add! :)

zepdrix (zepdrix):

sorry i wrote that wrong :) lemme fix it a sec. i didn't realize that they actually gave you PQ and PR so solving for QR, QR = PR - PQ

where did you get QR=PR-PQ from?

Nevermind I got it now Thanks!
