Solve x in terms of k: log base 6^x+log base 6^(x+6)=k can anyone help me after I get the x^2+10x-2^k=0?

Directrix (directrix):

@Ottomaticc --> Is the base of these logs 10, 6 or something else?

log base 6

Directrix (directrix):

@Ottomaticc Would you post how you got the following: x^2+10x-2^k=0 I got x^2 + 6x - 6^k = 0 although I don't know that it is correct. Thanks. In answer to your question, I say use the quadratic formula to solve for x.
