OpenStudy (anonymous):

any one i need help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3*2y+3*6-8y 6y+18-8y -2y+18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3(2y + 6) - 8y 6y + 18 - 8y -2y + 18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be 16y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how come? of course not

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i yhought u - it so u + it so 20y i don't no this stuff I'm trying to learn

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it can not become 16y because they are different

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do u do it then

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first you have to multiply 3 with 2y and 3 with +6 then you get 6y and +18. so, it will become 6y + 18 then you can substract 6y with 8y. so, the result will be -2y + 18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its -2+18 is it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have to add y after -2. you can't eliminate y from that equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its 20
