If it is placing an equal number of sheets into 100 boxes then it would be division that helps you here.   1,000,000 sheets of paper divided equally into 100 boxes would be 10,000 sheets of paper each. Now 608,113 divided by 10,000 sheets will tell you what box it is in. The 600,000th sheet of paper would make 60 boxes and any sheet after within 10 thousand is the 61st box. Did that help?
