Discussion topic:" I'm a beginner in Computer Science will 6.00/6.00x do for me?" It is said that u dont need prior experience to do it but i believe that this "prior experience" is mostly refered to programming knowledge and that a person with few or none general computer knowledge would have a hard time doing the course. Do you agree? and what should be the minimum knowledge one should have to actually be able to follow the course?

The prerequisites as stated in the "About" page of the course are as follows: "High school algebra and a reasonable aptitude for mathematics." Since this is an introduction to computer science and (python) programming, I assume that no prior knowledge or experience is required with either programming or computer science. I imagine the raw assumption that you can fire up a PC and know your way around it, is definite. I hope that helps!

(Just for info: This is not a topic to convince me its a course for anyone or not. It's a topic so that new ppl can read and understand , if this course would be in their reach. So feel free to give your oppinion.) P.S. Forgive my Newbie English.
