-6(t^2+3)-2(t^2-2)

OpenStudy (ajprincess):

First remove the brackets then u will get \(-6(t^2+3)-2(t^2-2)\) \(=-6*t^2-6*3-2*t^2-2*(-2)\) \(=-6t^2-18-2t^2+4\) Combine the like terms. Can u do?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes thank you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be ? \[4t^2 +22 \]

OpenStudy (ajprincess):

\(-6t^2-2t^2=-8t^2\) \(-18+4=-14\) so \(-6t^2-2t^2-18+4=-8t^2-14\)
