by the way does a fuel cell produce electricity as well as water?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

youd have to ask buzz that one .... im not too sure what a fuel cell would be

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well who is he?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, fuel cells produce water as a waste product of electricity production.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Water can also be reclaimed from lithium hydroxide scrubbers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so from fuel cell

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The common hydrogen fuel cell oxidizes hydrogen to produce electricity and water. 2H2 + O2 --> 2H2O. The lithium hydroxide scrubber (removes carbon dioxide from the air) also produces water in a hydride form: 2LiOH + CO2 --> Li2CO3.H2O The hydrate water can be boiled off and then condensed back to liquid.
