s=3r^4 t .solve for t

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Divide both sides of the equation by \[ 3r^4. \]The result is: \[ \boxed {t = \dfrac {s}{3r^4}}. \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it \[s = 3r^4t\] or \[x = 3r^{4t} \] ? this matters

OpenStudy (anonymous):

As posted, it's the former, even assuming that you mean "s =" in the latter. ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure, they could have. But I got a medal from the OP (thanks!), so I was right. ;)
